Castello di Novello/Novello Castle is a neo-Gothic style castle situated near a little town in the Langhe region, home of the white truffle, and in a panoramic and quiet position a few kilometres from Alba, Barolo and Cherasco.
Careful renovation has restored Castello di Novello/Novello Castle to its original splendour, including areas now having their original function. Clients can have their meals in suggestive dining rooms and enjoy the velvety and mysterious atmosphere of the historical “suites” furnished with original furniture.
Suites consist of two separate bedrooms, a small entrance lounge and bathroom. All bedrooms have modern amenities, enjoy a splendid view over the ‘Langhe’ and over the river Tanaro valley, surrounded in the distance by the Alps and the imposing outline of Mon Viso (3,840m), and have access to the terrace/solarium which is decorated with flowers, tables, chairs, rocking chairs and sun beds.
Lunch or dinner is served in the “della Caccia”, “degli Arazzi” or “delle Muse” dining rooms, with typical cuisine accompanied by fine Piemonte wines.

His Opinion: Da consigliare. Purtroppo era l'ultimo weekend prima della chiusura per un restauro. Quindi non abbiamo potuto usufruire del ristorante e la colazione sebbene fosse fornita di ogni ben di Dio aveva qualche piccolo dettaglio da sistemare. Complessivamente belle camere spaziose e con una bella vista. Anche il paesaggio e le colline circostanze sono meritevoli di un soggiorno. Nota locali ordinati e puliti.

His Opinion: Schade dass wir nicht vorgängig informiert worden sind, dass das Restaurant im Hotel sonntags geschlossen ist.
Alle anderen Restaurants im Ort waren fast ausgebucht, aber mit Glück konnten wir ohne Reservation dann doch noch etwas finden.

His Opinion: We had just renewed our wedding vows for our 25th anniversary and were taken to the castle. Unbelievable from the outside, our suite was magnificent!! Stayed in the Maria suite, would highly recommend a stay here. The staff, especially Josi, were incredible!

His Opinion: die Wände des Zimmers scheinen sehr dünn zu sein, wir höhrten immer den Nachbar husten, ausserdem störte mich ein dauerndes Geräusch einer Maschine, vielleicht die Heizung im Keller? Ansonsten ein wunderschöner Ort mit aufmerksamem Service aber ich weiss nicht ob ich nochmal hingehe.

His Opinion: Wir 4 Freundinnen waren restlos begeistert von dieser prunkvollen Unterkunft mit den stilvollen,grosszügigen und gepflegten Räumen und dazugehörigen Terrassen mit traumhaftem Blick über die Langhe Region.
Wir fühlten uns wie Schlossdamen!
Schön dass die Räume in ihrer ursprünglichen Form erhalten und nicht durch Modernisierung verschandelt wurden.
Zu unserem Wohlbefinden trug zudem der unkomplizierte und offene Austausch mit der Schlossbesitzerin bei.
Ein kleiner Anstoss: Da während unseres Aufenthalts die Aussentemperatur ausgesprochen heiss ausfiel, wäre eine erfrischende Abkühlung in einem Pool noch das Tüpfelchen auf dem i gewesen.
Doch:Es war wunderschön im Schloss.
Wir werden wiederkommen.

His Opinion: è stato un soggiorno indimenticabile! suggestivo e molto bello. il panorama dalla camera era mozzafiato e il terrazzo era bellissimo. la location è tranquillissima non si sente nessun tipo di rumore..si è completamente immersi nel silenzio romantico della notte con le stelle sul terrazzo e rilassante. da provare e da ritornarci!!! His Opinion: Das Zimmer (Nr. 103) war sehr sauber und ok. Beim Waschbecken und bei der Dusche waren jedoch Mängel vorhanden. Beim Betätigen des Wasserhahnes floss Wasser neben dem Hahnen auf den Boden. Die Leitungen sind nicht dicht. Die Duschbrause müsste ebenfalls ersetzt werden. Der Service war sehr gut und gastfreundlich.

His Opinion: Very beautiful hotel with the most beautiful views in all Piemonte. We had a really wonderful time. Our room was on the extremely large balcony overlooking all Piemonte. The staff was exceptionally courteous, breakfast was very good, and the small town has an excellent restaurant. Of course, wine tasting was the highlight of our trip. Perfetto!

His Opinion: Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, la signora sa pure consigliare ottimi ristoranti nel caso in cui quello del castello non fosse disponibile.
La nostra camera, la Suite Maria, è davvero bellissima.
Il panorama lascia senza fiato, sia dal terrazzo che dalle finestre della camera, senza considerare la zona in cui si trova, tutto circondato da vigneti.
Veramente bellissimo, sia il castello che le langhe!
