AnimeaSud is a very charming houses situated in the heart of the Val di Noto, in Modica, the town famous for its handmade chocolate, processed with the ancient methods of the Aztecs.
AnimeaSud has been created from the careful renovation works of a beautiful old building and it represents a perfect melting between ancient and mondern emotions. Indeed, elements of the ancient structure coexist with modern features such as ecology, contemporary art and urban design, the property hosts several pieces of art created by the Bolognese artist Luca Giannini, and also original objects deriving from the former building, as for example the ancient door or the bedside tables made from old slabs of stone pitch.
Casa Kimiyà is an exclusive artist's guesthouse with an alchemic charm, offering enchanting view over the historic center of Modica, a wonderful baroque sicilian town protected by Unesco and famous for its delicious chocolate.
Located in a quiet street of Upper Modica (Modica Alta), close to the cathedral of San Giorgio, the house is set on 2 levels and features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living-room with sofa-bed and an equipped kitchenette with wine cellar, balcony and terrace with breathtaking view over the baroque town, a children-corner with books and drawing colors.
The interios show a unique decor, with ancient sicilian tiles, pitch-stone and reused features perfectly combined with contemporary design and contemporary artworks by the owner and artist Luca Giannini.
By request we offer sicilian cooking class, mediterranean dinner with our chef, wine tasting and chocolate tasting, guided tours and natural excursions, electrical bike rentals, transfers and chaffeur service.

Kimiyá, from the Arab word for “alchemy”, is a fascinating two double bedroom abode with an enchanting view over Modica. The house is located in the historic town centre, in a very quiet narrow street near the Cathedral of S. Giorgio.
Kimiyá can accommodate up to 4 adults (+ 2 children). Arranged over two floors, the property measures 70 sq. metres internally and 20 sq. metres externally. It boasts 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open-plan kitchen living area with sofa bed, children area with futon bed, balcony and terrace.

Built in a magnificent sixteenth century complex next to the Cathedral of S. Giorgio, Hortus – Latin word for “garden”, is an exclusive 3 suite-residence with garden and private grotto SPA.
Arranged over various floors, the property can accommodate up to 6 persons. The exterior of the property (170 sqm) features a terrace and a garden with a dining area for 10 people, barbecue and relax area with Jacuzzi. The interiors (175 sqm) boast 3 suites with en-suite bathrooms, living room, kitchen with underground wine cellar. The private grotto SPA with heated pool and hammam will be opening soon.
