In the heart of Kalsa, the oldest neighborhood in Palermo, a unique structure of its kind since it was built within the historic walls of the monument the Bastione dello Spasimo from which it also takes its name.
The Bastione dello Spasimo was born in Palermo in the first half of the 16th century with the specific aim of safeguarding the city from the growing enemy incursions coming from the sea.
Each room is unique in its kind and has its own identity, in fact the attention to detail is certainly the distinctive feature of this elegant structure, in fact every detail has been carefully chosen trying to best respect the identity of the place, some on the ground floor dug into the stone inside the Bastione itself and others located on the first floor of the building built in the early 1900s with a splendid view.
All are equipped with a bar corner with Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, minibar, TV and safe. In addition to high-quality sheets and towels, Nuxe bathroom products will be provided free of charge.
The garden with English lawn frames the splendid heated salt water swimming pool. Our shared outdoor spaces are designed to give our guests unforgettable memories, surrounded by maximum comfort and relaxation. Our breakfast room then transforms into a beautiful tea room where you can taste excellent fine teas and where you can spend time reading a book or working in one of our stations. There is also the possibility of using our wellness area.
The Jacuzzi is immersed in the garden between the Arab walls of the year 1000 and the fortresses of the Bastion of Spanish domination of 1536 you can relax inside our Jacuzzi. Equipped with all comforts, between heated fresh water and hydromassage you will feel enveloped in a unique and sensational atmosphere.
