“Borgo dei Conti della Torre” is situated near the town of Morsano al Tagliamento in Friuli. A splendid park of 3,000 square metres makes this historic building a refuge far from the stress of everyday life with its magnificent swimming pool and English lawns just inviting you to have an unforgettable relaxing time.
The 17th century Villa has recently undergone extensive renovations to preserve it, blending modern demands with the atmosphere of a characteristic aristocratic residence. The salon on the ground floor can host up to 80 people, and can be enlarged thanks to furnishings in the vast garden – an exceptional location for convivial dinners, a refined wedding, meetings, gala evenings…with large numbers of people too. And the upper floor, with its reception/function room, guest rooms, library and lounge, can host up to 50 people for conventions, business meetings and conferences.
In front of the villa, a typical Italian garden makes a beautiful scene on its own. A consecrated chapel of 5th century origin and beautiful fountains, whose gushing is the only noise you can hear whilst strolling in the park, add a touch of special fascination – transforming the context into an elegant green ‘lounge’ – an ideal framework for lots of occasions. In the case of wind or rain, appropriate means allow the large Barchessa panoramic area to be closed, making it a pleasant verandah in other seasons. Adjoining the Villa is a delightful out building, the Gastaldia, hosting comfortable bedrooms and the refined breakfast room which will tempt you with its typical Italian breakfast delicacies.
Each one different, the 11 themed rooms have been furnished with the taste and creativity of the owner and have the best of comforts to make every kind of stay pleasant.
The historic residence also has a school of cuisine/coking and wine-tasting courses (with prior booking), guided visits to the wine cellars of the DOC Friuli Grave area, tee time booking for the 4 nearby golf clubs, and free use of bicycles.
Worth visiting in the surrounding area are the Villa Manin at Codroipo, the Sesto Abbey at Reghena, San Daniele (cured ham factory), Udine, Venice, Lignano...And in the month of November: the Festival of the Goose at Morsano and the ‘Anteprima Natale’ (Christmas Preview), a showcase of gift ideas, recipes and decorations set amongst the charming environment of the Borgo village.

His Opinion: Tolles Setting in altem Weingut mit super gepflegtem Garten, Pool und netter Lounge.
Sehr freundlicher Empfang mit Prosecco und Appetithappen, Frühstück war ebenfalls in Ordnung.
Etwas viel Kitsch in Form von Puppen, Volieren, Tierfiguren etc. - wers mag wird begeistert sein ;-)

His Opinion: Ein außergewöhnlich geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hotel, das dazu noch einen herrlichen Garten hat. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, Entspannung pur. Die Damen des Hotels waren sehr hilfsbereit, gastfreundlich und sehr nett!
