Borgobianco Resort & Spa – MGallery Hotel Collection
8.7/10 on 303 reviews
Borgobianco is an exclusive five star resort situated in typical Puglia countryside just outside the picturesque coastal town of Polignano a Mare, perched on top of a rocky promontory.
The white architecture of the hotel, the whiteness of the limestone, its architectural lines and the refined and luxurious spaces, form a stunning contrast with the natural surrounding landscape. Set amongst secular olive trees in the Puglia countryside, Hotel Borgobianco welcomes its guests in style to a luxury resort.
The prestigious rooms and suites recreate the austere atmosphere of old country houses, at the same time offering the elegance and comforts of a modern hotel. From the windows, there are majestic olive trees as far as the eye can see, standing out against the blue sky. Borgobianco enchants visitors with the warm welcome of its staff, by its excellent genuine cuisine originating from local tradition and is completed by an excellent selection of wines, Mediterranean flavours and fragrances which seduce even the most demanding palates.
The sophisticated wellbeing centre is one of the most satisfying privileges that Borgobianco has for its guests; it is the place where the body and mind can be renewed, finding harmony again with oneself with exclusive and relaxing treatments.
The hotel also has two meeting rooms, elegant, convivial areas which can hold 150 and 80 people for business meetings or high-level conferences, thanks also to the most up-to-date technological equipment.
Located on the hills overlooking the sea of Polignano, the resort is just a few kilometres away from the most popular tourist attractions of the area: the beaches, the wonderful Polignano rocky coastline, the typical Puglia cone-shaped “trulli” houses of Alberobello and the fairytale countryside of the Itria Valley, Conversano – the city of art and culture, the spectacular "Grotto“ caves of Castellana, Ostuni - the white town, the mysterious Castel del Monte, the “sassi” stone formations of Matera, the ancient local "masserie" farmhouses, church ruins and many other secrets to discover.

His Opinion: The place is fantastic and the service is great. Very human and nice people and beautiful facilities.
The food is extremely good, specially at night. I have to say that the best thing is the people that give service they are fantastic.
We were with our 7 month old baby and had a fantastic time, we are very happy with the place and highly recommend it.
The only thing to consider is the their wifi does not work. So bring your own internet to be able to stream movies or listen to music or use email.

His Opinion: Overall good but we had problems with AC in the room.
The singer didn't fit the very nice and romantic restaurant (too loud, not "jazzy" enough). Bar was closed during afternoon.

His Opinion: Borgobianco is a lovely hotel in a beautiful, relaxing location. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the Reception. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was very spacious with a great view over the fabulous swimming pool. Our only slightly negative comments would be that the restaurant menu could be more varied and it would have been nice to have poolside snacks available at lunchtime rather than just the buffet lunch costing €40. Overall a very nice holel with the potential to be excellent with some minor improvements.
