“Bunchrew House Hotel” takes its name from the word ‘Bucrev’, Gaelic for ‘root of the tree’ - most fittingly, as facing its front entrance stands the magnificent Cedar of Lebanon, locally known as the ‘Loving Tree’, said to bring good luck to enamoured young couples who plight their troth underneath its branches.
Bunchrew is one of the few more than 400 year old original buildings still standing proud in the Highlands of Scotland. Its 16th century architecture is a monument to the vision and foresight of Lord Lovat, who lovingly built the manor for his wife Lady Jane.
All guestrooms are marked by their unique character and sense of style, each one appropriately named after the Scottish clans that passed through its doors.
Guests can choose from a variety of rooms all with modern amenities and delightful surprises from four poster beds to your own conservatory or whirlpool bath.

His Opinion: Très beau petit château près d’Inverness, dans un cadre enchanteur, au milieu des arbres et devant un bras de la Mer du Nord. Le cadre intérieur est très cossu et cosy et le restaurant sert une très bonne cuisine. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et très confortables.

His Opinion: Todo muy bien excepto la cena. Muy lento sirviendo y la comida no es para esa categoria de cena que ustedes quieren dar. Yo tome una crema de Brocoli, que no era nada del otro mundo y un salmon demasiado hecho. Mi marido tomo unas gambas, que abrasaban, rebozadas bastas y una carne que no estaba mal. todo ello haciendonos esperar entre plato y plato mas de 15 minutos.
El personal muy agradable.

His Opinion: Viajamos en familia; ,mi esposa, nuestra hija de 13 años y quien le escribe a este fantástico hotel. Es muy bonito, el lugar en que está ubicado es de ensueño. Lo recomiendo. El personal gente muy buena y muy sencilla. Se desviven para hacer de tu estancia lo más cómoda posible. Nos alojamos en la suite craigton y es fantástica. Prometemos volver. Darle las gracias a todo el personal y en especial al señor Thomas por su cercanía. Viajamos desde la isla de Gran Canaria hasta Inverness una preciosa ciudad cercana al lago Ness.
