Pavone Castle is convenientely situated, about 500 metres from the Ivrea motorway exit. The construction of the castle, one of the most beautiful artistic monuments in Italy, began in the 9th century, and it dominates the medieval town of Pavone Canavese.
The elegant fortress rises between the superb walls which protect the fascinating Noble Courtyard, ancient Wishing Well and the Tropical Park with the romantic S. Pietro church, which still has two ancestral Roman tombs from the 4th & 5th centuries. The property of different family lineages (among them the Otto dynasty, King Arduin, and the House of Savoy, this important fief has been accurately renovated since 1885 thanks to Alfredo d’Andrade.
Today, with every comfort and the most modern technology, it gives the best of hospitality to the most demanding clients, bedrooms decorated with wood panelling and period furniture give a sensation of warmth and enjoyment.
