Situated on a gentle hill, in the heart of Collio, Capriva del Friuli, and immersed in the vegetation of a magnificent park, Spessa Castle dominates the splendid view that can be admired in this part of Friuli.
The 19th century castle comprises a small private chapel, which is still used today for weddings, and a suggestive reception salon suitable for meetings, ceremonies and business dinners.
Inside the castle there is a 14th century wine-cellar, ideal for guided visits or wine-tasting of the Pali Wines group of companies. On the first floor of the castle, the “Foresteria” has nine suites with period furniture, bathrooms, TV and air conditioning.
In the splendid scenery of Spessa Castle park there is also a magnificent 18-hole golf course characterised by different panoramas along the route. The fairway design is different too, giving the impression of playing on three different courses. The Club House is situated on the course, has ample parking and a terrace overlooking the golf course route.

Was uns persönlich gestört hat ,, war
1. dass das Schwimmbad einen Tag komplett zu hat
2. dass das Schwimmbad Euro 25 pro Person und Tag extra kostet . Das haben wir noch in keinem Hotel erlebt uns wir sind Touristiker mit eigenem Reisebüro und Busunternehmen. Das heißt es kommt pro Zimmer und Nacht Euro 50 dazu . Wir wären gerne jeden Morgen und am Abend noch eine Runde geschwommen, jedoch für 50 Euro ist es uninteressant
Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden

His Opinion: Das Schloss und die Umgebung sind sehr schön und gepflegt. Das Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich in einem schönen Ambiente.
Uns fehlte ein Platz mit Liegestühlen und Sonnenschirmen zum Relaxen, z.B. hinter dem Frühstücksraum.

His Opinion: Das Castello die Spessa ist wunderschön und die Zimmer sind traumhaft, alles in allem perfekt für unseren Kurzurlaub mit Freunden!
Als wir zu 6 angekommen sind, wurden gerade Vorbereitungen für eine Hochzeit getroffen.
Man hat unsere kleine Gruppe nicht wirklich wahr genommen, es gab keinen Trink zur Begrüßung und es war nicht einmal möglich ein Glas Wein oder Sekt zu kaufen, das fand ich sehr schade!
Dass in der Region an unserem Abreisetag der Strom abgeschalten wurde, dafür kann das Hotel nichts, aber wir haben uns bemüht sehr früh die Rechnung zu begleichen und haben auch die Zimmer schon um 9 h geräumt, da hätten wir uns ebenfalls über eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit gefreut....

His Opinion: Ihr Haus ist ein wunderbares Domizil, in dem man sich rundum wohlfühlen kann. Man hat das Gefühl in eine andere Zeit einzutauchen.
Schön wäre noch, wenn man abends noch einen etwas ausgedehnteren Barbetrieb (und.z.B. ein kühles Bier) genießen könnte.

His Opinion: Im Zimmer (Nr. 4) zeitweise Lärmbelästigung durch die Eisenbahn. Das Bett war sehr hart! Nur wenige deutschsprachige Sender im SAT-TV! Es ist von Vorteil, sehr früh zum Frühstück zu gehen, da keine Speisen (Wurst, Obst...) nachgelegt werden.

His Opinion: Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen, leider haben wir ihr Angebot, die zweite Nacht bei ihnen zu verbringen, nicht angenommen. Wir waren die zweite Nacht im Castello di Formentino. Es war einfach schrecklich. Kann man unserer Meinung nach, nicht mehr empfehlen. Ins Castello di Spessa werden wir sehr gerne wieder kommen.

His Opinion: Leider ist der Golfplatz derzeit im Umbau und deshalb in einem desolaten Zustand. Sonst war alles perfekt und wir kommen sicher wider.

His Opinion: Wir genossen 2 wunderbare Tage in einer sehr schönen Gegend. Das Restaurant bzw. die Küche war sehr gut. Das Service ließ nur etwas zu wünschen übrig !

His Opinion: Siamo stati magnificamente. Bellissima la suite, adeguata la colazione. Una piccola miglioria potrebbe essere fornire oltre all'accappatoio anche le ciabatte.

His Opinion: Un luogo meraviglioso e incantato dove si respira la storia passata e si gode di un bellissimo paesaggio. Il servizo è impeccabile e chi ci ha accolto è stato disponibile, cordiale e mai eccessivo. Le camere, in stile e molto raffinate, e l'ambiente sono perfetti per staccare completamente dalla quotidianità e immergersi nella natura ad ascoltare il silenzio ed assoporare i suoi fantastici prodotti.
