This 13th-century castle was the former residence of the bishops of Cahors. It features a chapel and overlooks the Valley of the Lot and the famous vineyard of Cahors.
The Château de Mercuès offers guest rooms lavishly decorated with gold interiors and antique wooden furniture. Each room includes a minibar, and has a private bathroom.

His Opinion: E' la mia seconda volta e trovo sempre incantevole questo "castello delle fate". Assolutamente unica la cortesia, dall'accoglienza alla partenza.Un po' di rammarico per essere qui sempre di domenica o lunedì, con il ristorante chiuso. Buono il Bistrot, ma non eccezionale, a causa di una scelta un po' limitata. Tornerò in ogni caso volentieri.
