SIQU is a comfortable and familiar home located in Menfi, a characteristic Sicilian town in the province of Agrigento, between the valley of the Belice and Carboj rivers.
The home was born from a conservative restoration of a building of the agricultural bourgeoisie, dating back to the end of the 19th century, by two families of architects with a strong passion for the enhancement of the territory.
The historical atmosphere blends with the details of contemporary inspiration, permeated by the scents, colors and flavors of this magical land. SIQU is the perfect place to experience the true spirit of a family in a Sicilian residence among courtyards, terraces and outdoor spaces to be discovered.
A search for Sicilianness that has generated an original and authentic structure, where respect for tradition is placed in the foreground through the conservative recovery of a late 19th century home by two families of architects who have decided to share their love for Sicily with their guests.
The historic atmosphere blends with contemporary-inspired details, permeated by the scents, colors and flavors of this magical land; an authentic experience that aims at well-being, good food, art and design.
Immersion in tradition, in SIQU, is also culinary. With us you will live a unique experience within the flavors and smells that characterize Sicilian cuisine and its typical dishes: arancini, couscous, bread and fresh pasta, ‘nfigghiulate, sciavata, marzipan and much more!
The terrace of SIQU offers a shaded space in which to spend pleasant moments of quiet. Inspired by the terraces of nineteenth-century buildings, the flooring, in blue and green majolica, reflects the color of the sky and aromatic plants.
As in a traditional nineteenth-century home, the pantry is the part of the house where food is stored. In ours you can find a selection of preserves, sausages and local wines that will open the doors to the Sicilian food and wine world.

The ancient Sicilian homes were places dedicated to sharing and hospitality, to the processing and preservation of food, to religious functions and to the organization of events open to citizens.
At SIQU we want to recreate that way of living now distant from contemporary living. SIQU offers six rooms, all with dimensions greater than 30 square meters, each of them is linked to a story and constitutes a unique experience.
