In a central position along the lake and renovated in Neo-classic style, the elegant 4-star hotel overlooks the port of Cannobio, a famous tourist area on the western side, not far from the Swiss border.
The bedrooms and suites in contemporary style (some with balconies and lake view) have a panoramic view and every modern comfort. The Porto Vecchio Restaurant with its enchanting terrace is the ideal place to savour a wide range of local and Italian specialities.
With its little alleyways, hidden little squares and the romantic lake shoreline, Cannobio is the most characteristic town on the north-western shore and has largely kept its historical and natural heritage intact, boasting a wonderful lake and mountain scenery and countless historical testimonies of the Roman, medieval and 9th century periods. And, apart from being one of the best around the lake, the beach is among the best to practice water sports.
Nearby, with its ancient traditions and customs, Cannobina Valley, at the back, is ideal for those who love trips and excursions. Carmine Superiore is also worth visiting: a very old village set on a rock spur with a splendid view of the lake, like the Cannero Castles on two islands.
Further south, the social life of Stresa with the Borromee Islands and further north, the Ticino canton with its famous lakeside towns of Ascona and Lugano, the Brissago islands and beautiful valleys, among which the fantastic Verzasca Valley stands out with its spectacular uncontaminated countryside.

Accueil chaleureux et belle chambre avec balcon.
Tout était parfait.
Déjeuners élaborés et délicieux. Un vrai 4* dans une petite ville qui est encore un peu préservée du tourisme de masse.
