The two charming country houses, a newly renovated 17th century farmhouse and a converted barn, are surrounded by 5000 square meters of rural parkland and sweeping lawns, scattered with hundreds of olive and fruit trees. The lovely grounds also feature a shaded terrace for breakfast and sundowners, a boules pitch tucked away in one corner and sun loungers circling the pool.
A choice menu that changes every day, a loyal clientele and only the very best fresh produce from local suppliers made the Clos Saint Pierre a highly appreciated, award-winning location.
And in addition to the culinary delights, the “Hôtel du Clos”, a three minute stroll from the Michelin starred restaurant, now offers eleven beautifully appointed guestrooms, excellent service and value for money. His Opinion: Wonderful room, but right on the edge of a very noisy estate which detracted from being able to sit on the private terrace. There were a number of youth at the adjacent property who could stand adjacent to our room looking through the open fence. Better shielding is necessary. Breakfast fantastic, although we question whether the restaurant deserves a Michelin rosette. However the staff were all delightful and made us most welcome.
