This beautiful Hotel dates from 1229 when King Jaume I 'the Conqueror' expelled the Muslims from Mallorca. Possessió Binicomprat is one of the houses that was seized from the Muslims in the Book of the Repartiment.
The first owner being the Order of the Templars. In 1511 Oliver Moragues, current family, eventually buys the house and has had it for five centuries until today. The Possessió entry maintains the original cavalry and the eighteenth-century Gothic arch. The old Mallorcan cuisine remains intact and it is the place where the owners serve breakfast made from Majorcan products every morning
The old chapel of the house remains intact and has the characteristic ornamentation of the eighteenth century.
The celler is considered the "jewel" of the house, since it is the vaulted cellar where they stock their family made wines.
At Possesio Binicomprat, guests can enjoy an outdoor pool surrounded by oaks and aromatic plants. Or enjoy a breakfast and later a BBQ dinner at the grill. There is a garden that grows vegetables that are available for all guests to taste.
