“Hotel Santa Isabel” is situated on a rocky promontory overlooking the bay of Scario, Malfa, on Salina, the greenest of the Aeolian archipelago islands. Short pathways adjacent to the hotel give access to the beach and the centre of the town in just a few minutes. Thanks to its luxuriant vegetation, Salina is a ‘must’ for lovers of nature and trekking. The hotel offers many guided excursions to the fascinating nature reserves of Monte Porri and the Fossa delle Felci.

On two levels, the comfortable suites boast a large panoramic living area, some also have balconies. Furthermore, the hotel has an annex with two double bedrooms with two bathrooms and a large lounge overlooking a pretty green patio. There is a magic atmosphere in every corner of the hotel where, among banana trees and other rigogliose plants, excellent Aeolian cuisine can be enjoyed. Due to its exclusive and exotic environment, with inside and outside bars, music and candlelight, ‘night and day’, Santa Isabel becomes the most renowned point of reference on the island during the evenings.

During the day, guests can relax on the splendid beaches or enjoy themselves discovering the characteristic places and flavours of the island, towns’ saint festivals and numerous tasting festivals such as those of the squid fish, caper and malvasia (malmsey) wine… Romantic walks can be enjoyed along the shores of the Lingua lake, relishing mulberry and almond ‘granita’ iced drinks (‘snow cones’), visiting the ancient fishing village of Pollara, and then towards evening, enjoying an aperitif on the magnificent terraces of Santa Isabel admiring incredible sunsets – lost atmospheres found again here….
