The 4 star luxury hotel “Shackleton Mountain Resort” in Sestriere is a diamond inserted in the heart of the Olympic mountains of Turin 2006. The hotel is situated at 2000 metres and its architecture, a spiral of glass and steel, captures the energy of the surrounding mountains and gives a perfect idea of comfort and wellbeing, designed with special creativity.
Nature is the inspiring muse of the Shackleton, with its 460 km of ski pists in the largest district of the European alps, the "Via Lattea", which attracts all ski lovers.
During summer, the winter ski pists get transformed into a huge down-hill bike-park, with plenty of trekking paths among lakes, mountain pastures and mountain huts, with the possibility for sport lovers to do plenty of activities such as skate-ski, summer ski, rafting, horse riding, tennis… After having explored the marvellous nature which surrounds the property, guests will have the pleasure to relax in the hotel which offers meditation lessons, gymnastics with professional trainers and relaxing massages directly in your room - a dream full of relax...
The hotel also disposes of a marvelous swimming pool where guests can take a moonlight swim in the wonderful water heated at 31 degrees, or taste an aperitif with their friends, plunged in pleasant hot water and surrounded by cold winter snow.
Also the mountains themselves offer plenty of wellbeing, starting from excellent food, to the healthy air of the fir trees. The idyllic lakes and the peace conveyed by the natural surrounding guarantee a stay full of energy. The property's rooms and suites are very large (up to 68 sm), and many dispose of Jacuzzi bath and great view over the valley.
