Situated directly on the western shore of Lake Maggiore, at Baveno, a characteristic tourist village near Stresa, stands "Hotel Splendid", an elegant 4-star hotel affording spectacular views of the Borromean islands and the Alps.
Nestled in a beautiful garden with a large swimming pool and solarium, the Splendid also has a private beach of fine sand, where guests can enjoy the relaxing Lake and also take advantage of canoes and pedalos.
Sporty guests will also find a tennis court and a gym, while for those who prefer the delights of sweet idleness, there is a Wellness Centre offering a wide range of ways to relax such as a Turkish bath, sauna, Jacuzzi, and curved Scottish-style showers, as well as the new salt cave, directly from Estonia.
For maximum relaxation, the suites and junior suites come with their own Jacuzzi, some rooms have a cosy seating area and wooden floors, and all rooms are characterized by the elegant style of Zacchera hotels, equipped with all mod cons and furnished with care in every detail.
