“Monastero Le Grazie”, once a Cistern monastery on the border between Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany, is today a welcoming Country Resort magically inserted in a splendid natural setting near the ancient fortified town of Amelia, a town with imposing walls which are a testimony to its great power and historic importance when it was once a Roman town.
With a wonderful view of the secular park, containing the Tree of Life, the majestic residence proposes a new look at well-being, offering a wide range of treatments for renewing psycho-physical equilibrium such as Shiatsu, Shen Do massages, Ayurveda, training and meditation, all by qualified experts, such as the highly esteemed Accadeia Mediterranea Shiatsu.
The very comfortable characteristic suites, finely furnished and looked after, are the ideal framework for meeting the “self”. Most of the areas overlook the park, with a suggestive view over the splendid swimming pool and the garden “Giardino dei Semplici”, a labyrinth of fragrant medicinal herbs.
The restaurant "Il Ristoro del Priore", with the same name, was chosen as the meeting place for the Accademia Italiana della Cucina magazine, and has excellent traditional Umbrian recipes and a sought-after and welcoming atmosphere.
There are various lovely salons for reading, meetings and billiards to complete what this luxurious residence has to offer.
