Situated in Rosignano, in the heart of Monferrato, the historical property I Castagnoni, which was once a religious nunnery, today represents a charming relais which offers its guests a stay plenty of history, charme, relax, excellent food and also the rediscovery of ancient traditions, all perfectly related to its territory.
The property offers luxurious rooms, all completely restored, with extraordinary frescos and antique furniture. The rooms dispose of wonderful courtyard and garden view, some have a panoramic view on the swimming pool, on the Piemont hills or on the relais vineyards.
The garden of the property is an oasis of peace and it hosts the very beautiful swimming pool which guarantees its guests moments full of relax while admiring the surrounding panorama in a breathtaking silent natural scenery.
There are plenty of activities offered to our guests, such as a visit to the Monferrato wine cellars, to the ancient tuff houses in Rosignano, to the baroque buildings in Casale or a relaxing walk through the several natural paths, even by horse or by mountain bike.
If you visit the property during the grape harvest or during the truffle season, the property owners will be glad to offer typical tastings on request, including the famous Monferrato Dolcetto Doc wine which gets produced directly by the property.

His Opinion: Bella struttura ma chi la gestisce è molto assorbita dalla gestione e poco attenta all'accoglienza Avevamo pagato x una camera superior ma ci siamo trovati con un mini apartamento in un ala separata della villa con rumorose pompe di calore che non facevano dormire. Ci hanno consigliato x la cena un ristorante "terre rosse" che credo sia il peggiore del Monferrato...colazione discreta...magari siamo stati sfortunati...ma in compenso la sagra di Montecalvo ci ha un po migliorato i ricordi del Monferrato.

His Opinion: Un vero incanto sul ambiente, la cura del giardino, l'ospitalità senza farne troppo, lo consiglio anche per 2 giorni, situazione molto calma, centrale per escusioni nella zona, l'unico punto da migliorare sarebbe l'indicazione piu chiara per arrivarci senza sbagliarsi( l'aiuto di un abitante è stata necessaria per imboccare la strada giusta) è un dettaglio nell 'insieme del soggiorno d'incanto...

His Opinion: Le lieu est très beau mais il est regrettable de devoir encore payer 10 Euros par personne pour profiter de la piscine.
Pas de douche hydromassage ni de hammam comme réservé.
Petit-déjeuner sur la terrasse très agréable.
