Situated not far from the centre of Radda in Chianti, Relais Vignale welcomes its guests warmly to an elegant 18th century family house, whose history is linked to the history of Chianti wine. Indeed, in 1924, the certificate of corporation of “Gallo Nero” (the consortium responsible for the defence of typical “Chianti Classico”) was signed on the Vignale Estate.
Lovingly restored, the hotel and its annex which overlooks the valley, have a wide range of rooms, each one with its own characteristics and individual furnishings with antique furniture, oriental rugs and original prints. The suites - with Jacuzzis, lodges or private terraces - and most of the rooms, boast splendid views of the Chianti countryside.
You can also enjoy the enchanting countryside and the evocative sunset over Radda from the panoramic terrace, while savouring original Tuscany dishes reinterpreted by the chef of the Vignale Restaurant which also offers cuisine courses. The Wine Bar has a selection of the best Tuscan wines and guests can taste and buy from among the most prestigious labels of famous Italian wine makers, as well as products from the Fattoria
Vignale and Castello San Donato in Perano.
Panoramic heated swimming pool, cycling, and nearby riding, hot-air ballooning, designer outlets... the list of things to do is unending. Situated halfway between Florence and Siena, the Relais is the ideal departure point for visiting the artistic cities of Arezzo, San Gimignano...and also for exploring the Tuscan hillsides covered in vineyards, olive groves and cypresses, medieval villages, castles and the centuries-old quarry mines of Chianti.
The small family chapel in its fabulous scenario – or that of nearby San Donato Castle – make a perfect setting for your marriage or to spend your honeymoon.

His Opinion: Bon service, courtois et professionnel - Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. La décoration est un peu trop rustique à notre goût. Les nôtres étaient situées au calme. Même si la vue dégagée est très belle, les infrastructures (piscine, transats) ne sont pas à la hauteur des tarifs pratiqués. Le petit déjeuner est correct, sans plus. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant ni le SPA.

His Opinion: Thank you to Maria Grazia working for icastelli.net our vacation has been gorgeous! We booked for the Double Classic Room and, as available, they gave us the Deluxe with Jacuzzi! The Room was amazing. The Relais is a dream...and the staff really professional. We had our dinner inside as well: we drunk a fabulous wine and we ate the main dishes from Tuscany food!
The Relais is also in a central position to go around Chianti area!
Of course we will come back!
