The Hotel Sa Bassa Rotja was once a thirteenth-century Majorcan house, restored today, but still retains some of its original features.
The hotel is within a farm of 100 acres, just 3 km from the town of Porreras, and 18 km from the most virgin beaches of the island, is Trenc, Ses Covetes, Es Carbó. The farm belonged to Guillem de Varoic in the thirteenth century. This gentleman served in the king's court, to later retire and devote himself to religious literature.
The location of Sa Bassa Rotja, allows customers to be in an environment of peace and quiet but close enough to the tourist areas most visited in the island.
The whole area is surrounded by beautiful green fields and olive trees that gather our attention with their rare forms and natural beauty.
The town of Porreras, which is very close, has a rich historical and cultural heritage and offers unique craftmanship.
The hotel rooms are beautifully decorated, with neat and modern elements in an environment full of charm.
The hotel has a library where you will find interesting literature. It also offers its customers a la carte restaurant, where dishes are prepared with fresh local products.
