Sganga Kondè King B&B is situated in Novara di Sicilia, suggestive medieval town on the border between the Nebrodi and Peloritani mountains, which is part of the prestigious club “I Borghi più Belli d’Italia” (“The Most Beautiful Villages & Towns of Italy”).
The building, an ancient aristocratic resident dating back to the 18th century, belongs to the Stancanelli family and has been the object of restoration since 1934, after which date a good part of the frescoes which adorn the large salon have taken on a “Lictor” style, created in homage to Benito Mussolini who was a guest in November 1926.
The building has seven bedrooms of which four have private bathroom, while the remaining three have two communal bathrooms, making them an ideal family apartment. All the bedrooms are furnished with period furniture of the family, and have heating and fridge-bar.
Also available for guests is a large solarium terrace with a panorama of the valley which goes down towards the sea with the Aeolian Islands on the horizon, and where it is possible to have breakfast in summer.
Sganga Kondè King B&B is the ideal base for excursions to the “Cervino di Sicilia” and the archaeological-astronomical site of Argimusco, one of the most fascinating and ancestral places in all of Sicily.
