The hotel is surrounded by the Sierra de las Nieves Nature Park and Biosphere reserve. It’s founder, Kezia Jacobsen. originally from India, has 25 years experience in aromatherapy, reflexology, Reiki, Indian Head Massage, meditation, counseling, healing, etc.
The hotel has been built taking into account not only its materials, but following the guidelines of the Feng-Shui to help find the right balance of the different energies that surround us.
Kezia Jacobsen, has been successful in bringing part of the tranquility of the ancient East to the Shanti- Som Wellbeing Retreat.
This sanctuary of the senses, was built using ecological materials, wooden ceilings, Iroko wood, marble floors and even the water they use comes from a depth of 176 mts..
The Shanti-Som Wellbeing Retreat is surrounded by pine, lemon, almond, and olive trees. The minute you enter the lobby you can already begin to feel the peace….the relaxation…. Balinese sofas and armchairs face the panoramic views of the pine forests and the mountain.
The rooms are ample and the decoration is all made of soft colors, colors that make you feel relaxed, every details counts to your wellbeing. The hotel has a beautiful pool and an ecological garden that supplies daily fresh produce for the hotel’s restaurant.
The Shanti-Som Wellbeing Retreat, offers a full yoga and detox programme and lifestyle solutions, that will help clients feel rejuvenated and re-inspired while they regain their energy and balance.
Their treatments specialize in the mind and the spirit, as a result, helping beautify the body. The Shanti-Som uses non-invasive cosmetic treatments with Genie Complete™ a combination of specific frequencies that work in harmony with the body’s own bio-electric impulses and signals, stimulating muscle tone and enhancing skin tissue.
