In the heart of the historic Buda Castle district, near Trinity Square, rises the “St George Residence Deluxe”, Budapest’s oldest historic luxury hotel, just a few steps away from the bustling life of the old town with its countless restaurants and cafes, antiques shops, galleries and museums, as well as the main attractions of this famous World Heritage Site on the banks of the Danube.
The historic inn was founded in 1785, based on three medieval listed houses, the most ancient parts of which date back to 1392. Meticulously restructured, the lovely complex, which previously housed a museum and offices, returned to its original vocation in 2007 - but now as a 5-star boutique hotel, a luxury residence with 26 very exclusive and spacious suites, which are rather apartments with their large lounge areas and fully equipped kitchens.
