Situated in the heart of the Umbria region in the village Castel San Giovanni, 'Torre della Botonta' from the XIV century, is today a charming hotel obtained from a part of the old castle, which has been elegantly transformed into a wonderful property in order to offer its guests the warmest hospitality.
The charming property disposes of 4 elegant rooms, where the fascinating atmosphere of the past is perfectly melt with modern comforts. Each room represents a natural fibre, such as for example linen, hemp and silk, which characterize the hand-made room decorations such as the curtains.
Torre della Botonta also disposes of a unique apartment which an antique lodge which leads to two interior rooms and to the large living-room with its fireplace and kitchenette. Guests will also have the pleasure to admire the apartment’s historical fresco.
Just in front of the castle tower lies the restaurant ‘Grotta della Torre’, which offers our guests an authentic journey through the scents and tastes of the traditional local cuisine, from the typical truffle during the summer months to the black Trevi clery in autumn and to the grill specialities in winter.
For romantic moments the property offers exclusive candle light dinners in suggestive corners of the castle, such as the enchanting tower.
The position of the Torre di botonta is ideal for visiting the most interesting attractions and cities, such as Spoleto, Montefalco, Trevi, Assici, Spello, Perugia, Todi, Gubbio and Orvieto.

His Opinion: Abbiamo trascorso un week end romantico in un borgo tranquillo e silenzioso dove l unico suono derivava dalle campane della chiesa alle ore 8.00.
La camera pulita e accogliente.
Il personale cortese ed anche il titolare ospitale e attento alla cura di ogni dettaglio.
Colazione ottima da rifare!

His Opinion: Non vale i soldi che richiede, la struttura non ha una reception, è male riscladata, il frigo fa rumore, la colazione è poco curata, è sostanzialmente un B&B con una stanza abbastanza carina al prezzo di un buon albergo.
