“Villa Campestri”, a splendid renaissance residence dating back to the beginning of the 13th century, overlooks the Mugello valley, north of the magnificent city of Florence. Surrounded by a vast park of 140 hectares of green lawns, secular olive trees and woods of oak and chestnut trees, the estate and its suggestive surroundings, birthplace of Giotto and dotted with Medici villas, beautiful monasteries and churches, is a paradise for historical-cultural walks and itineraries.
A refined hotel has been created out of the loving restoration, which has been carried out with full respect for the structural form and original materials of the building, and whose enchanting atmosphere records the illustrious history of the region.
The bedrooms and suites in the converted villa, in the annex and in the old dairy in front, demonstrate harmony of minute details and preserves the ancient fascination of the residence, thanks also to the period furnishings: antiques, lighting, paintings, prints and other works of art.
The cuisine also has its roots in original Tuscan traditions, with culinary delights rich in traditional flavours and aromatic herbs. Exclusively for hotel guests, there are cooking and tasting courses, above all of olive oil: the Villa boasts its own ‘Olive Oil Shop’ in its picturesque cellars and offers a special historical-culinary route with a visit to the old press.

His Opinion: Without any doubt that is one of the best place in Tuscany we were. I was our second time we are here. Both times we were out of seasons, but fully enjoyed our stay.
The place has amazing views, and very chill for being out of the town. the interior is cozy and nice.
The food might be a little bit developed.
We are looking forward for come here during the season to enjoy pool and long Tuscany’s sun sets.
