Belonging to the Zanetta family, Hotel Villa Aminta dates back to the 19th century and is one of the most sought after hotels on Lake Maggiore today.
Villa Aminta has been enhanced with antique furniture, plasterwork, chandeliers, tapestries, arabesque and oriental vaults, in homage to its historical connection with the Republic of Venice, “gateway of the Orient”.
An elegant and refined atmosphere both in the surrounding environment and inside. The splendid “Sala dell’Arazzo” is a fine, elegantly furnished lounge, inviting guests to make conversation, enjoy a drink and listen to good music whilst enjoying the magnificent view of the Borromeo Islands. In the “Sala del Pianoforte” you can relax whilst listening to the grand piano.
The hotel has two refined restaurants, “Le Isole”, with detailed plasterwork and fine decoration, offering a delicious menu with impeccable service and an excellent selection of fine wines, and “I Mori”, with an enchanting atmosphere for a refined and unforgettable dinner under the glow of the islands’ lights.
Palazzo Aminta Beauty & SPA is available for beauty and body treatments and in 2009 we will inaugurate the “grotta” with Thermarium/turkish bath, ice waterfall, Aromarium, sensory and Scottish showers with alternation of hot/cold water, whirpool with geyser jets and relax area.
Other facilities available are: clay tennis court, a wonderful swimming pool overlooking the lake, a solarium with magnificent view of the islands and affiliation with various golf clubs.

Grosse déception concernant la chambre : j'avais réservé une suite, et la chambre était petite, peu pratique (impossible d'y faire entrer la petit-déjeuner !)
c'est très dommage.
